All of our upTOWN volunteers and staff have been through volunteer training and have had a BCI and FBI background check.
How does promotion work?
Children in the 4 and 5 year old classes are promoted on their birthdays. Kindergartners will be promoted to 1st grade (DOWNTOWN) at the beginning of the school year.
What is your "well child" policy?
If your child has shown any sign of illness within the past 24 hours, please keep your child at home. This includes, but is not limited to, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, coughing, runny nose, or sore throat. If you have been around anyone who has had these symptoms or has had COVID-19 or is being treated for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, please stay home. We are working to create the safest and healthiest environment for your kids and for our volunteers. In order for us to continue gathering without interruption, we need your help to create this environment.
What is your security policy?
In order to provide for the ultimate security of your child while in our care, we follow a strict security policy. This is to ensure that only the proper adult may pick up your child. When you register your child, you and your child will be given matching security ID numbers. You should sign your children in 15 minutes prior to the service starting. When the service is over, you must present your ID number to receive your child. If your child needs you during the service, we will put your security ID number on the screen in our main sanctuary and venue. (20 minutes after each service begins, the children’s area is secured and only parents with security tags are allowed to access this area.) In the unlikely occurrence the building needs evacuated, all parents will be directed to the East driveway parking lot where you may pick up your child with the approval of their leader.
